Shrink sleeve is a label technology in which labels are shrunk to containers for optimal label area and contour.

Shrink sleeve technology optimizes printable label area with virtual 360-degree graphics, while accommodating extreme container contour. This flexibility is applicable to virtually any shape or size container on PVC, PET, PETG, or OPS film. Both UV flexographic (8 and 10-color) and rotogravure printing can be utilized, providing photo-quality images as well as availing the use of eyecatching metallic and fluorescent inks. Shrink sleeve provides excellent scuff resistance, easily detected evidence of tampering and consumer-convenient multi-pack presentation. And precise adhesive control means superior seam quality. Our seamer readily handles changes in speed or seam size. Additionally, we have an inspector/rewinder that provides 100 percent inspection at speeds up to 1000 fpm and is fully reversible, which translates into excellent production speed with optimum quality control. Our shrink sleeve labels are fully compatible with your high-speed production equipment. Manufactured at Multi-Color' Corporations Scottsburg, IN, and Batavia, OH facility, the labels are printed in roll to roll form on rotogravure and flexographic presses, depending on our customer's requirements. The labels shrink to the container by either manual application or heat tunnels, depending on the product, and distribution requirements.
