For its 150th anniversary, Bolle was looking for an innovative solution to communicate this important date to their clients. They wanted to have an eye-catching proposal that could be applied automatically on their labelling line. The idea was to add an extra label on the collar of the bottle to capture the attention of the consumers on the shelves in comparison with a traditional medal.
We decided to propose and develop a resin solution to achieve Bolle’s vision. However, the biggest challenge was to be able to apply such a label on the collar of the bottle due to the technical constraints during commercial production. However thanks to our expertise in full label solutions, we finally reached Bolle’s primary goal and helped them to be perceived as an innovative company in the market.
Through our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, we are constantly investing in new technologies, materials and processes to ensure we remain at the forefront of our industry, pioneering new standards for premium labels. From raw materials to finished goods, our in-house Research & Development team has a focused effort on new product development and new market innovations that help build brands and drive sales.
Using an extremely complex and patented framework, we are able to print full color images using UV colourless/invisible inks. The printed image remains invisible under any visible illuminations such as daylight but reveals when exposed under a UV lamp.
A pattern containing the micro-text “original” is invisible when the label is looked at a front view. At a view angle of 90°, the pattern appears while the background is turning to a bright violet.
