A promise of excellence

For Master Cheesemaker William Wyssmüller excellence is not an objective it is a necessity.  This philosophy is apparent throughout the product’s lifecycle, from the milk production by the farmer, the processing by the cheese maker, the ripening & packing of selected cheeses all the way up to packaging.

The goal of the packaging is to reflect their key values and amplify the unique and precious gastronomic experience around their products. The grated cheese comes in a traditional and simplistic pouch. Wyssmüller® chose MCC Switzerland to develop a label that reflects the quality and exclusivity of the product.

Premium Positioning

MCC were able to achieve this using a Pressure Sensitive label construction. Firstly, we selected a high quality substrate, a Frozen Orion Diamond paper. Next, we wanted to incorporate a range of embellishments to add another dimension to the label design. Using a combination of hot foil stamping, selective gloss varnish and high build screen-printing we were able to convey the brand values and achieve shelf standout.

“The label really enhances the brand’s shelf visibility and achieves the premium positioning that the product deserves. We are happy to hear that this has helped to accelerate sales and market penetration.” Yann Quinche, Sales Director at MCC Switzerland.

We are proud to work with Swiss partners who match our level of requirements, our brand values and our gastronomic message. MCC has a high level of competence and expertise in printing but also in advising on how to give packaged products a real emotion.”
