As part of our Labeled with Care commitment and strategy, we respond to the CDP climate change questionnaire every year. CDP is one of the most comprehensive and internationally recognized sustainability reporting platforms. A global non-profit organization, CDP provides investors with a clear view on how sustainability is incorporated into the business strategy and practices.

Companies that disclose to CDP are scored using letter grades A to D-, and different scores are provided for each focus area (climate change, water, and forests). The scores are calculated using questionnaire responses.

Confirmed by our recent materiality assessment, climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation are two crucial topics for MCC. We understand this is a key priority for our company and our stakeholders. Since 2020 we have raised the bar for ourselves, and we are very proud that we received our best result to date in 2023. MCC is now at the highest level of the management band (B) and another step closer to achieving the leadership level we aspire to.

Beyond scoring on climate change, CDP also evaluates organizations on how they engage with their supply chain on this topic. At MCC, we understand that it is crucial to work with our entire supply chain on this, so we very are proud that we achieved the Leadership band (A-) in 2023. A close partnership with our suppliers ensures that we make a positive difference together in the most efficient and effective way.
