September 5, 2025 marks the two-year anniversary of welcoming Hassan Rmaile as Chief Executive Officer at MCC. Over the past year, MCC has continued to evolve, innovate, and expand its global footprint to better serve its customers. Below is a brief update on recent milestones and Hassan’s reflections on the journey so far.
Two Years at MCC: Building Momentum, Shaping the Future
A year of strategic portfolio additions, onboarding leadership talent, and driving innovation and customer excellence
Over the past year, we’ve continued to build on our strong foundation and push the boundaries of what’s possible in premium labeling solutions:
- We launched new sustainability initiatives focused on recyclable materials, digital traceability, mono-materials, and intelligent labeling solutions, emphasizing our commitment to circularity.
- We hosted our Packaging Summit in Lucca, Italy, bringing together leading customers, partners, and innovators from across the globe. The event fostered rich dialogue around sustainability, design, and the future of packaging, reinforcing our commitment to co-creating solutions that matter.
- We brought on new leadership talent across key areas of the business, building a team that is agile, decisive, and deeply aligned with our customer-centric mission. These leaders are helping us accelerate innovation, elevate our service to our customers, and ensure we’re anticipating—not just responding to—our customers’ evolving needs.
- We expanded our footprint in Latin America with the acquisition of Eximpro, the leader in shrink sleeve technologies in Mexico.
- We made strategic investments in assets and sites across the globe, expanding assets and capabilities, and modernizing operations to better support our customers’ growth and innovation needs. These investments reflect our long-term commitment to delivering excellence at every touchpoint.
- We welcomed STARPORT into the MCC family, significantly enhancing our capabilities in RFID and smart packaging solutions. Starport and MCC share a deep expertise in engineered label solutions, agile service model, innovation, and intimate customer relationships, making this partnership a perfect fit.
- We continued accelerating Korsini, reinforcing our storied leadership in in-mold labeling across EMEA in addition to the Karydakis business in Greece.
