A label, representing the connection between wine and genius
In celebration of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo Da Vinci, Leonardo da Vinci SpA/Cantine Leonardo Da Vinci and Officina Grafica decided to create a new packaging and label representing the connection between wine and genius.
The fame of Leonardo’s genius is boundless, but not everyone is aware of his passion for wine and the art of cultivation. Leonardo was a painter, inventor, scientist, but also an expert in wine: between fantastic intuitions and drawings of machines for agriculture, Leonardo studied cultivation methods, was an excellent agronomist and oenologist who gave precise indications and revolutionary advice for the vineyard and cellar.
It was therefore decided to use the image of the Vitruvian Man, synonymous with perfection, to let the world know the link between wine and Genius.
MCC has been entrusted with the creation of the label, meticulous graphic details that had to replicate the perfection of Leonardo’s features with targeted ennobling, helping to create a packaging that lives up to the project!”
