In 1998, the Aitken family established Barfold Estate in the Heathcote wine region, transforming a simple sheep and cattle farm into a vineyard and winery. The story of Barfold Estate has evolved with a commitment to quality viticulture and exceptional winemaking. Since 2017, the family has worked with artist and musician Jack Vanzet to ensure the estate’s visual identity reflects its heritage and quality.
Jack has created bold, distinctive labels that work together as a suite for each harvest, balancing accessibility with understated elegance. The colour and design elements, inspired by the autumnal hues of the vineyard, reflect the natural environment of Barfold Estate.
