Bond Seven derives its name from the method of spirit creation, Bottled-in-Bond and the warehouse it was stored in during aging.

A spirit that was Bottled-in-Bond had to be aged and bottles according to a set of regulations put in place to assure quality. The original Bond Seven Whisky was distilled & bottled in warehouse No. 7 of Milne & Co, wine merchants in South Australia during the 1950s.
