Cambridge Distillery Dry Gin Label

Cambridge Distillery has innovation at its core. It’s driving purpose is to craft the world’s most exclusive and innovative spirits for the discerning customer. Founder Will Lowe spent his formative years at Cambridge University where he lived with his father, an academic at Corpus Christie College. Cambridge is therefore imbued in the culture of the historic city’s first distillery.

Cambridge Distillery’s premium recipes use locally sourced botanicals from meadows surrounding the distillery or grown in the distillers own garden. Founders Will & Lucy Lowe attribute the inspiration for the birth of the distillery to Darcy the family dog, whose long walks across the flourishing meadows was the catalyst for the idea to distil locally foraged botanicals.

Our brief was to re-design the brand identity and packaging, adding premiumness and craft whilst telling the many stories of the distillery. The brand mark celebrates the historic location and its link to the founders. This detailed mark inspires a unique brand pattern that comes to life on the pack and beyond. Cambridge blue is celebrated as the brand colour while the bottle is adorned with a range of icons that celebrate the historic moments of the brand.
