Dr. Wes Pearson is a Scientist (not to mention, has a PHD in terroir). He loves data. It means Wes knows exactly what the fruit is doing on the diverse terroir sites he has specifically selected throughout McLaren Vale.

This in-depth, almost obsessive knowledge base is then blended with the art of minimal intervention wine making. Just let it be. Let the fruit become the most authentic expression of that site.

And this is the Juxtaposition. Maximum data meets minimal intervention.

Voice® were engaged to design a range of wine labels that reflect that blend of science and art, communicating the brand’s commitment to wines that taste of the place it comes from.

These labels have been brought to life with precise printing by the MCC Adelaide team. The right label is clean and minimalistic, reflecting the minimal intervention and enhanced with a tactile grain effect. On the left, the label presents the details of the science behind the wine, featuring embossing in the form of graph paper, highlighting the commitment to data.

These two contrasting labels perfectly encapsulate the juxtaposition of science and art that is Juxtaposed.
