Tiraki wines come from the vineyards established on Longfield Farm, nestled in the Southern Valleys of Marlborough, New Zealand.

The wine was born from a family thinking of creative ways to keep themselves entertained during the pandemic. Tiraki, which is Māori for ‘clearing of the sky’, celebrates the mountains that protect the Marlborough valleys from storms.

Committed to the community, land, and environment, Tiraki is New Zealand’s first B Corp wine brand, and as such, a key point for their label was that a sustainable material be used to align with their brand. The labels are printed on Bagasse, an uncoated, white label material with wet strength properties. Bagasse is created from an alternative pulp source, predominantly sugar cane waste and a small amount of hemp. Both of which are readily renewable resources.

Gold foil and gloss high build embellishments accentuate the brand, drawing the eye towards the illustrated image. The image skillfully portrays the ‘clearing of the sky’ by the rugged, mountain ridges as they cut through the clouds, and let the sun shine through. A natural phenomenon that nurtures the Tiraki vines.
