Produced in the very heart of Tequila, the town for which the spirit is named, El Toro is made using only the best agave plants, hand-harvested at full maturity and double distilled to create a smooth, flavoursome Tequila. This range of Tequilas for the Australian market required unique packaging to reflect the premium quality of the product, with the initial brand and label designs developed by Frame Creative.

The launch of a new varietal, Grano de Café, needed to maintain the integrity of the existing range developed by Frame, yet create significant differentiation for this item and add premium cues. Grano de Café is a unique blend of El Toro Classico Blanco Tequila, combined with natural essences of Arabica coffee. Filomena Musolino, Creative Studio Manager at Bickfords Group of Companies, knew the idea needed to be centred around the gold bull reveal as the liquid was consumed and the bottle revealed.

To achieve this, a front and double-sided back label combination was created for a 3D look through the bottle.

The front ‘badge-style’ label has been printed on Heavy Metal, a stock that achieves an ultra-premium look. Embossing has added extra tactile effect for a unique finish.

The back label is a double-sided construction, with full graphics on both the front and backside. This has enabled a second design to be revealed through the bottle as the product is consumed for a unique consumer experience. The shiny nature of the metalised film has created a foil-like effect for the gold bull of the label design. These premium labels are truly fitting of this unique product.
