Whalebone Brewing Company is located in the remote town of Exmouth in Western Australia, the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef. Owned and operated by two local families with a love of craft beer, they recently branched out into distilling spirits on-site.

The debut range comprises of the Ningaloo Gin and the Ningaloo Vodka. The branding, and label designs, draw on the provenance of the Ningaloo region, a World Heritage listed natural wonder and thriving tourism destination.

The colour palette and design of each label is inspired by different local landscapes. Ningaloo Gin depicts the sunset-colour drenched landscape of local attraction Yardie Creek, a gorge with red limestone cliff faces. Ningaloo Vodka depicts local highlight (and one of Western Australia’s best beaches), Turquoise Bay, as it might look by night soaked in a blue-moonlit light.

The unsurpassed quality of our digital presses has delivered a premium print result. A textured stock was chosen, with a dense and bright colour achieved on this absorbent uncoated material. Finely detailed foils and embossing elevate the products appeal for a luxurious, tactile effect. The unique design of the label die-cut adds to the visual interest on bottle. Matching tamper seal labels complete the look.

The result is a high-end feel that gives these products enormous appeal, especially to visiting tourists, one that people may not necessarily expect from a product produced in the regions. These premium labels really do reinforce the products’ status as the “Spirit of the Coral Coast”.
