Red Mill Rum was established in 1933 and became a notable part of the Sydney drinking scene. By the 1950s, George “The Bunny” Fesq was selling more than 300,000 bottles of rum per year. Following the sale of the business in 1979, the brand disappeared, only to be revived in 2020 by George’s great-grandson David.
David approached MCC after seeing their collaboration with OKI Printers at the Australian Distillers Conference early in 2024. He was seeking a solution for providing customised and personalised labels in-house at their newly established distillery in White Bay. This 700ml generic run label is one of several labels to be preprinted by MCC and then overprinted in-house by Red Mill. This label printed on Cotone Bianco paper includes unique embellishments such as subtle hole punch emboss, gold foil and high build screen.
“The process of executing these labels with MCC was just fantastic. Lots of good advice, communication and service, and of course, the outcome with the printed labels themselves” David Fesq
