Subsea Estate employs a world-first subsea winemaking process: secondary fermentation at a constant temperature within a pressured environment. At a depth of 20 metres, the Southern Ocean continuously stirs the wine, creating flavours that cannot be achieved on land.

The approach to the label was to create something simple, modern, and bold, reflecting the Subsea Estate’s unique position in the Australian wine category.

The logo wordmark anchored at the base articulates the movement of the liquid as it stirs in the ocean, finished with a low build silk screen and sculptured emboss. Complemented by a bespoke neck label with a double-sided flag, inspired by the diver down flags used globally to indicate divers below.
