McRobert’s Small Batch

The McRobert Family came to us with a passion to create a brand centred around their well-researched family history. As direct descendants of a Scottish born, Master Distiller who migrated to America, establishing a number of distilleries, it was rich territory to work with.

A Scottish family crest and a clan badge inspired the wolves and collared motif, with each of the wolves representing the past, the present and the future. The McRobert’s are keen collectors of vintage Whisky memorabilia dating back to the mid 1800’s. We drew inspiration for the typography style from pieces in the collection such as whiskey bottles and glasses, stencilled and embossed with vintage lettering styles. The result is a label that blends the old with the new, giving the customers an insight to both the McRobert legacy and their future.
