Premium Etched Silver Foil Label for Naught’s Members-Only Collection

The team wanted to create something that flipped their standard labels and did the opposite – something dark, luxurious, and intriguing. We wanted the label to be elegant and imposing so people will look at it and be interested in the intricate details straight away.

The design of the label really did lend itself to utilising a couple of interesting embellishments to make the design pop, as some print methods would have resulted in a flat looking label.

The first element was to use a Hot Deboss to imprint the background image, with the heat and pressure from this process causing a change in colour of the Black to more of a Dark Grey. The deboss is very pronounced and will not flatten out during application or whilst on the bottle, creating the “old school” letterpress look.

The second important element was the use of a sculptured and etched foil to add the eye-catching appeal of the “G” logo and the Naught text. The etched foil helps to bring the images contained in the “G” to life.

At its simplest, it is a solid black label with foil and debossing; but this label is so much more.
