Lino Ramble

The labels for Lino’s existing range are usually loosely based on retro linoleum patterns, but during a recent working holiday to Portugal and Sicily we were totally inspired by all the mosaics.

Not exactly retro lino but these elegant masterpieces were a floor covering non the less and as we were making Sly Fox using fortified Arinto, a grape variety indigenous to Portugal – it resonated. Emily Shepherd of Studio E came up with the original design concept leaving gaps in the pattern to represent missing tiles.

We were looking for a “Mediterranean feel” and synergy between the wines as they were all fortified and Nicole Hogarth brought them all together using bold colours, matt, and gloss high-build embellishment coupled with silver foil detail. Gotta love a bit of bling!
