The Nodding Donkey Distillery Jarrold’s Sloe Gin Labels

Rocktails began with founders Chris and Katie and their deep-rooted history in the food, drink and events world. After many years of running an award-winning restaurant, off the beaten track in Devon, they were inspired to launch an alcohol-free drink.

They began their journey with steeping botanicals from their kitchen herb gardens and discovering the distinct flavours possible, thus leading to the creation of Rocktails.

B&B Studios created a premium spirits design to reinvent from fun, frozen mocktails to distilled botanical blends, in line with the growing sophistication of the zero alcohol sector.

Working with Multi-Color Labels both designer and the brand owner had a clear direction that it needed the Rocktails Labels to have a premium finish. The front label, although small in size, packs a punch with the use of copper hot foil and emboss to give life to certain elements all sitting on a premium material.

The back label was a difficult challenge, they would accept no show through of the text to the image, otherwise, this would ruin the whole atheistic created. Multi-Color Labels had the solution creating no show through and keeping perfect adhesion to the glass.

The finished labels really give Rocktails a distinctive look on the shelf that really wouldn’t be possible with anything less than perfection.
